Interpretation Services

Interpreters of International Link are required to be familiar with and follow our Code of Responsibility for Interpreters and our Professional Standards for Interpreters Guidelines.

Foreign language interpreters

International Link’s foreign language interpreters include native speakers of over 20 languages. This includes Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, German, Check, French, Italian, Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Arabic, Albanian, Bosnian, Romanian, Farsi.

You can request an interpreter who is of the culture being served.

All of our interpreters are experienced and conduct themselves in a professional manner. Some were professional interpreters in other countries or states. Currently there is no certification for foreign language interpreters in N.C. other than for court. We provide in-service training. We have interpreters who completed MAHEC’s interpreter training.

Sign Language Interpreters

Our sign language interpreters are certified, experienced and professional.

A number of our interpreters are available to serve outside Buncombe county. The standard mileage reimbursement would apply within and outside of Buncombe County.

Translation

We also provide written translation services for which we can be called for an estimate.
